How much does NotareFlow cost?

NotareFlow is $14.95/month. That's it! One plan with every feature included. No tiers and no feature gates.

What happens when my trial ends?

If you don't cancel, your subscription automatically starts at $14.95/month. You'll receive reminder emails at within a week before your trial ends so there are no surprises.

How does automated invoicing work?

You set an hourly rate for each instrument you teach. For recurring lessons, NotareFlow calculates the cost based on the lesson duration and your rate, then sends an invoice to the student or parent automatically on the schedule you choose.

Is the subscription tax-deductible?

NotareFlow is a business software expense for your studio. Most private music teachers can deduct it as a business expense. Please check with your accountant for your specific situation.

Invoicing & Payments for Your Studio

How do I get paid?

Payments go directly to your bank account through Stripe. During setup, you'll connect a Stripe account (takes about 10 minutes). Stripe handles payouts automatically.

Do I need my own Stripe account?

You'll create one during onboarding. Stripe walks you through it. It's a Stripe Connect (Express) account, which means quick setup and provides a simple and secure dashboard to track your payouts.

How do I set my lesson rates?

Go to your billing settings and create a rate for each instrument. For example, $60/hour for piano, $70/hour for voice. You can bill per lesson (based on duration, so a 30-minute piano lesson at $60/hour bills at $30) or set a flat monthly rate. You can also create custom rate tiers using the custom instrument button. For example, "Piano - Beginner" at $50/hour and "Piano - Advanced" at $70/hour. You can update rates anytime.

What if I teach multiple instruments or want different rate tiers?

Create as many instrument rates as you need. Each one has its own name and hourly rate, so you can set different prices per instrument, skill level, or lesson type. NotareFlow tracks which rate applies to each student and bills accordingly.

What payment methods can my students use?

Students and parents can pay by credit/debit card or bank transfer (ACH). Both are available automatically through Stripe. No extra setup required.

Can you give me an example of how fees work?

Say you invoice $100 for lessons this month. You receive the full $100. Fees are added on top to the invoice. - Card: invoice shows approximately $104.33 - Bank transfer (ACH): invoice shows approximately $101.81 Fees include a 1% platform and Stripe payment processing fee (varies by payment type). You will not see a deduction from your earnings.

Security & Privacy

Who can see my studio information?

Your studio data is private to you. Students see only their own portal. Parents see only their linked children's information. No other teacher or studio can access your data. The NotareFlow team will only access your account data with your consent for troubleshooting or account recovery purposes.

Is my payment information secure?

NotareFlow never stores credit card or bank account numbers. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI Level 1 certified (the highest level of payment security).

Do you comply with COPPA for younger students?

Yes. Students under 13 require verifiable parental consent before their account can be created, in compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).

Yes. Parents get a "Family Feed," a view of all their children's upcoming lessons, recitals, and practice goals. No need for separate logins per child.
