Getting to Know Us
Jackson Chen
I believe that music studio management and pedagogical excellence should be one and the same. I founded NotareFlow because music teachers deserve a digital workspace that doesn’t just manage a schedule, but actively empowers their ability to mentor, inspire, and develop the next generation of musicians.
My background sits at the unique intersection of music and technology. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. As a musician, I have performed at Carnegie Hall and the Gogue Performing Arts Center. While my musical training taught me the patience required for mastery, my career in analytics from Fortune 500 companies taught me how the right technology can transform a disjointed process into a seamless operation.
I built NotareFlow to be a "Holistic Ecosystem" for the studio by serving as a bridge between the practice room and the lesson. Unlike generic management tools, every feature we build is filtered through a single question: "Does this enhance the student's learning journey?"

By removing administrative friction, I aim to preserve a teacher’s mental energy so they can remain fully present for their students.
We call our approach "Data with a Pulse." We go beyond generic reports to provide insights into student progress, repertoire growth, and developmental milestones, making the intangible art of learning finally visible.
Additionally, I am a deferred MBA candidate at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I view this step as a direct investment in the future of NotareFlow, ensuring the platform remains a professional-grade power delivered with a warm, human-centered design.
When I am not polishing NotareFlow, I serve as a junior board member for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s young professional group and contribute to CSO's music education initiatives. In my downtime, I enjoy learning new repertoire, cooking, and having a great conversation over coffee.
