What We Stand For

Mission
Our Mission: To empower independent music teachers by removing the administrative burden of running a business, allowing them to focus on what matters most: inspiring the next generation of musicians.
Vision
Our Vision: A world where music education is seamless, connected, and safe where technology fosters the relationship between teacher, student, and parent rather than getting in the way.
Core Values
-
Harmony & Flow: We believe software should be intuitive. We design tools that fit naturally into your workflow, reducing friction so you can stay in your creative flow.
-
Warmth & Professionalism: We don't believe business tools have to be cold and sterile. Our platform combines professional-grade power with a welcoming, human-centered design.
-
Safety & Trust: We protect your studio’s data and your students' privacy with the highest standards of security and compliance.
-
Connection: A music studio is a community. We build features that bridge the gap between the practice room and the living room, keeping families engaged and teachers supported.
Jackson Chen
Founder and CEO

Hi, I am Jackson. I founded NotareFlow because I am passionate about using technology to improve lives. I believe that music teachers deserve a digital workspace that is as polished as the art they teach.

My background sits at the intersection of music, technology, and business. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I have performed on stages including Carnegie Hall in New York City. Through my musical training, I learned that the pursuit of mastery is a continuous process requiring patience and structure. I apply this exact philosophy to building NotareFlow.

Simultaneously, I have built a career in analytics and technology. I spent years helping Fortune 500 companies improve their workflows and organize their data. I experienced firsthand how the right technology can transform a chaotic process into a seamless operation.

I noticed that while large companies have powerful unified tools to manage their operations, music teachers were often left juggling scattered and disjointed ones. I built NotareFlow to replace that chaos with a secure, organized, and cozy digital home for your studio.

I am also a deferred admit as an MBA candidate to the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I view this step as a direct investment in NotareFlow. I intend to apply the insights from this program to further grow and improve the platform, ensuring that you always have the best possible software to manage your studio.

When I am not working on NotareFlow, I remain involved in the music community. I serve as a board member for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s young professional group and contribute to CSO's music education initiatives. In my downtime, I enjoy learning new pieces on the piano, cooking, and having a great conversation over coffee.
